Favorite Five - August 2022

Welcome to our "Favorite Five" for August! We have collectively pulled some of our favorite new products, artists, and places. And, are excited to share them with you!

1. Soho Myriad - Artist

- Zoë Buckman

We love when artists take everyday objects and turn them into art! We are especially loving the intricate embroidery, and juxtaposition of a more masculine led and physically aggressive sport (such as boxing), with more feminine and delicate details

2. SpecCeramics -Tile

-Marea Collection

We've been seeing a lot of interest in fluted products lately, and love this new tile option by Spec Ceramics! We've been using a lot of wood products to achieve this look, and having a tile option for added durability, at bars for example, is extra exciting. And, the colors!!

3. Hotel June

- Approachability is key for the new brand from the creators of Proper Hotels, designed by Studio Collective." We can't wait to check this space out!

4. Soho Myriad - STAPLE

- Artist: Baptiste Debombourg

We get so excited when we see artists take something traditionally industrial and turn it into fine art! This artist "uses staples to represent Italian Mannerist engravings."-Soho Myriad

The staples take on an aesthetic of fine/short pencil strokes and/or paintings made of hair. The end result is extremely delicate, while the up close view, of forced/bent metal, represents something far more aggressive.

5. Residences Kierland

- Quarterra (LMC) project install

Over the course of August, we have fully installed our Residences Kierland project, in Scottsdale, AZ. We are so proud of how this project came together!

Residences Kierland is a 300+ "smart" unit multi-family development located in the Kierland Commons neighborhood of Scottsdale, AZ. Taking advantage of the breathtaking and expansive views of the Westin Golf Course, the project was designed with a high-end wellness and hospitality driven lense. An integration of outdoor living, and the softness of and soothing power of greenery, helps to seamlessly merge the indoor/outdoor spaces. And, provide a truly lifestyle focused living experience for its residents. The project includes hotel style amenities such as a Lobby Lounge, approachable hotel-style leasing desk, Club Lounge that integrates a focal bar, rentable wine lockers, fireplace, and private conference/event dining space, spilling over onto the project's third level Overlook. The Overlook is an intentional vista that runs from the pool deck, giving residents an opportunity to perch, lounge, and/or warm by the fire. All, at the epicenter of the project's amenity spaces. Perhaps, the most unique amenity element added to this project is its full-service spa and state of the art fitness facility. This top-of-market spa includes one of 3 salt rooms in the greater Phoenix area, Nail Salon, Treatment Rooms, Locker Rooms, Steam and Sauna rooms, as well as an Igloo ice room that sprays Eucalyptus scent onto its users. The outdoor jacuzzi additionally, includes a cold plunge at the base of a sculptural water wall feature.
