Four Seasons Aviara

The Four Seasons Aviara project includes a restaurant, spa and club renovation at the Four Seasons Resort, Aviara in Carlsbad, CA. As the initial concept and brand for the restaurant began as "The Kitchen Counter", the expo design took on a Spanish Villa residential approach evoking a sense of a friend's home in their front of house kitchen. In this space, the design team created a true kitchen counter experience fit with pizza oven, expo cooking/service, buffet and chef's table. And, with a glass storefront system separating the kitchen from the overall dining experience, the chef and cooking action become the backdrop for all patrons to enjoy.
The "Modern Mission" concept extends throughout the project, particularly creating a calming approach for the new Driftwood Spa. Transforming the once fitness only space into a wellness center including small spa and salon has added a sought after amenity for the existing residents and creates a more full service hospitality experience for those using the property as a vacation rental.
